A New Era

I have a lot to say. Particularly when it comes to Tennessee football– both the Vols and Titans– I have a whole lot to say. So in the modern era, with countless outlets for billions of humans to share their most meaningless thoughts, experiences, outfits, meals, and weird shit with the entire world, I decided to start a blog.

I currently write for TitanSized, and of course I already have the necessary social media accounts that are (unfortunately) required for modern sportswriters, but I wanted something I could completely control without a focus on views, likes, followers, etc. In fact, I don’t know if anyone will read this. And that makes it even better for me.

The basic idea here is for the blog to be a sort of companion to the YouTube channel, but I have always been more comfortable with the written word than with video content. I even still prefer to read articles instead of watching news clips and read instructions as opposed to watching instructional videos. Maybe I’m old-fashioned. Or maybe I’m just getting old.

Either way, this is the first post in the unfiltered and unrestricted peek into my thoughts that this blog should be. I am writing this the day before the NFL Draft begins, and I’m hoping to have time to get a mock draft written and posted quickly. I’ve done one already, and you can see the first part below:

Of course, this was nearly two weeks ago now, and things change quickly in the world of draft analysis (even though there is no actual football being played from February to April, which should be the main criteria on which these prospects are judged).

It’s certainly worth noting that I have absolutely no experience in web design or anything in that realm. So if this looks like crap early on, please forgive me. But as I have (to some degree) with the podcast, my socials, my writing, and everything else, I will hopefully figure it out as I go.

Thanks for reading…love ya, bye!
